11 July 2016 - Final Conference European Unemployment Benefits Scheme

To mark the end of the research project 'Feasibility and added value of a European unemployment benefits scheme', CEPS - the Centre for European Policy Studies - in collaboration with the Slovak Presidency and the European Commission, is organising a conference in Brussels on 11 July 2016.

In this project, Eftheia has carried out the analysis of the legal and operational feasibility of the proposed schemes at national level. Together with Frank Vandenbroucke (University of Amsterdam) and René Repasi (University of Heidelberg), Michael Coucheir ensured the keynote speech for the panel discussion on the implementation of a European unemployment benefits scheme: moral hazard, permanent transfers and legal and operational challenges.
